Meet the Arccos Invitational Winners

As dawn breaks, anticipation fills the air, mingling with the scent of freshly cut grass and the glistening of morning dew. Ready to take on the challenge, you stand on the range, clubs in hand, focused and determined.

Welcome to The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, host of the famous PLAYERS Championship. Where players like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus to modern-day legends like Scottie Scheffler and Tiger Woods have teed it up…

Dye craftily created a course that would be challenging for players of all types. As Jack Nicklaus, once said when asked if the course fit his playing style, "No, I've never been very good at stopping a 5-iron on the hood of a car."

Now, picture yourself among them, ready to tee off like a pro. This dream comes true for 12 Arccos Members at the inaugural Arccos Invitational on March 26th and 27th, competing like the pros at The PLAYERS this week.

Allow us to introduce you to our twelve Arccos Members who will get the opportunity to compete for the Arccos Invitational trophy at TPC Sawgrass in two weeks…

What was your initial reaction to finding out that you just won an invite to the 2024 Arccos Invitational at TPC Sawgrass?

“Disbelief at first! You see so many spam emails saying that you won something but something caught my eye that seemed real about it. Then when I learned over the phone how many people entered and how I was among so few to win, I felt a drop in my stomach. I can’t believe it, what luck!”

How has using Arccos helped your game?

“It’s really helped me narrow down my distances to know exactly how far each club can go. My boyfriend and I love to strategize with the app to get a look at the holes to determine which club to use and where to aim.”
How are you planning to approach, playing the famous 17th Island Hole?
“Aim for the center of the green and stay safe, unless the round is going really poorly then a different mindset may enter the realm of possibility.”

How has using Arccos helped your game?

“Absolutely. As a golf newbie, I know I would not be playing the way I am in just a few short seasons without having Arccos to know my smart distance per club and aspects of my game that need improvement.”

How are you planning to approach, playing the famous 17th Island Hole?

“Like any other Par 3, try to hit the middle of the green and not think about the water… yeah right!”

Handicap: 1

What was your initial reaction to finding out that you just won an invite to the 2024 Arccos Invitational at TPC Sawgrass?

“I immediately told my fiance that this is a bucket list course. And then I shared this with my golfing buddies and they were jealous!”

How has using Arccos helped your game?

“Arccos helps me keep track of where my misses were. Those are things that are hard to remember after the round. The distance on the putts was helpful, too, so that I know what my realistic 3-putt ranges are. Overall, the mapping feature is one of the best things in the market right now!”

How are you planning to approach, playing the famous 17th Island Hole?

“It's either a PW or 50-degree wedge. Most likely it'll be a full 50, but going to see what happens with the wind and tee box placement. I will not attack the back right pin placement, and most likely aim just over the front bunker toward center-ish. I have a bit of a draw spin, so I have to account for that so it doesn't roll off the green.”

What was your initial reaction to finding out that you just won an invite to the 2024 Arccos Invitational at TPC Sawgrass?

I thought it was a scam email (haha). So disbelief!”

How has using Arccos helped your game?

“It has helped me clear up misperceptions about my game, and confirm other deficiencies. For instance, my settings are compared to a 5 HDCP. I feel confident I can get there, but through Arccos, I can see that approach play is holding me back. It also helped me improve on things I thought I was good at doing (i.e. short game).”

How are you planning to approach, playing the famous 17th Island Hole?

“Enjoy the moment. Not add any additional pressure.”
