Android 7.25.9

More control over your Smart Laser, an easier way to reach us, and a smoother round.

• Smart Laser plays-like settings: Choose which conditions your Smart Laser factors into its plays-like distance, right from App Preferences. Changes reach your laser as you make them.
• Today's conditions on your laser: Your Smart Laser now gets the current conditions, and a new round no longer starts with the last round's weather.
• Easier laser updates: Smart Laser updates no longer ask you to turn the laser on first, show when it's connected, and come back around after a few days if you skip one.
• Delete retired clubs: Permanently remove a retired club from Manage Clubs.
• Email or call us: Contact Arccos Support now lets you email or call, and emails open right in your mail app.
• Quicker Bluetooth setup: The permission screen names your device, and the app finds your paired device again as soon as Bluetooth is allowed.
• Fixes: The Round In Play notification opens the round you're playing, Move Shots is easier to read in dark mode, and removing a favorite course now works every time.
• Stability: Smoother performance during rounds and on the caddie screen, plus a fix for a crash when opening your Shots List.

Android 7.24.6

Round Replay is open to every member: relive any round shot by shot. Plus more accurate Smart Laser plays-like distances and rounds without a putter sensor.

New

• Round Replay for everyone: Tap Watch Round Replay on any finished round to relive it shot by shot. Each hole plays out on the satellite map with shot tracers and the club and lie for every shot, while your score, fairways, greens and Strokes Gained add up as you go. Pause, scrub or speed it up anytime.
• No putter sensor needed: You can start a tracked round without one. The "Putter Required" prompt is gone.
• What's behind your three-putts: Your putting card now shows what's causing three-putts, based on how far your first putt leaves you.

Improved

• More accurate Smart Laser plays-like distances: Your Smart Laser now gets complete weather from the app, including humidity, and stays accurate at the start of a round while the forecast is still loading.
• Easier Arccos Air pairing: The app now keeps searching for your Air for up to 15 seconds, instead of giving up after 5.
• Typical-Shot Score: The Skill Score card is now called Typical-Shot Score, with clearer wording about the shots you gain and lose.

Fixed

• Older Arccos wearables: Starting a round no longer stalls at 100%, and shots taken during a brief GPS dropout are no longer lost.
• Stability: Fixed a mid-round crash and improved how Bluetooth reconnects.

Android 7.23.3

Arccos Air and Smart Laser now reconnect on their own, and extra putts can no longer pile up on a hole.

• Arccos Air stays connected: If your Air drops out, the app keeps trying to reconnect instead of giving up.
• Smart Laser reconnects on its own: After a brief disconnect, your Smart Laser comes back without any help from you.

Fixed

• No more phantom putts: Extra putts can no longer pile up on a single hole.
• Excluded means excluded: Rounds you've excluded no longer count toward your scorecard stats.
• 3D course view: The 3D view in your hole strategy map loads properly again.
• Round notes: Tapping Done saves your note, and you'll be asked before unsaved changes are discarded.
• Smart Laser battery: Battery now shows as a level instead of an inaccurate percentage.

Par 3s no longer count against your fairways hit, and green reading is easier.

• Par 3s don't count against your fairways: Fairways hit now only counts holes where you're driving to a fairway.
• Easier green reading: Slope shading and break arrows are now both visible on the green.
• Arccos Air settings: Now under Settings, then Diagnostics.

Fixed

• Round history: Your round list now recovers if it has trouble loading, instead of staying blank.
• Round notes: Tapping Done now saves your note.
• Stability: Several crash fixes across Android and Wear OS.

Android 7.19.11

Your location now shows on the green map, and managing your clubs gets a cleaner design.

Improved

• Your spot on the green: The blue location dot now shows on the green map and in every in-round view.
• Manage Clubs: Adding, editing and removing clubs now uses the redesigned experience everywhere.
• Tournament mode: Green map zoom is locked to keep you within the rules.
• Tidier screen: The recentre button no longer covers the weather card on taller phones.

Fixed

• Right pin, right green: The green map shows the correct pin and no longer flashes an old overlay when you change holes.
• Starting in the background: Starting a round while the app is in the background no longer crashes. If your phone blocks it, you'll be asked to resume.

Android 7.18.7

Choose what the green map shows, read slope at a glance, and move the map around the green.

• Green map filters: Turn slope shading and break arrows on or off. Your choice is remembered.
• Slope legend: A colour scale shows how steep each part of the green is.
• Move the map: Drag the green map around, then tap to recentre.
• Report a problem: Let us know if something looks wrong on a green map, right from the map.

Improved

• Distance units: Switching between yards and metres takes effect right away.
• Smoother gestures: Pinch and multi-touch on the map work more reliably.
• Meta AI glasses: Voice commands from your glasses no longer get dropped.

Fixed

• Back to your round: Reopening a round from its notification no longer shows "Error Retrieving Data."
